I’ve finally finished the last of my three conferences of the fall, and I’m turning back toward writing and contemplating myth. I’ve started writing a book proposal for a book about myth, creativity and innovation, and I’m prepping for National Novel Writing Month (November). The novel that I’ll be writing is about knitting, selkies, the Pacific Northwest, and how we rewrite the stories that our families create for us when we’re young. I’m still thinking about all the great conversations I’ve had over the past couple of months about myth, and I’m so excited about the new ideas that are being born. More on all of this soon!
